Frequently Asked Questions
1. Are all artworks by Kos Evans original?

Yes. Every piece by Kos Evans is an original artwork created and signed by the artist. Each work is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity verifying its provenance and originality. Limited editions are produced in very small numbers to maintain exclusivity.

2. What materials are used in the artworks?

Kos Evans creates Limited Edition Prints and transforms historic yacht sails — often from legendary yachts, rockstars, and royalty — into fine art. Each artwork is printed by a professional photographic lab in London or created from authentic sailcloth, carbon fibre, or photographic prints on sail material, preserving the story and spirit of the sea.

3. How can I purchase an artwork?

You can enquire directly through the Shop or Contact pages on the website. For high-value or bespoke commissions, please email Kos@KosEvans.com for availability, pricing, and private viewing options.

4. Do you accept international orders?

Yes. We ship worldwide. Shipping is arranged through specialist fine art logistics partners Cadogan Tate to ensure the safe transport of your artwork. Please note that local customs duties or import taxes may apply and are the responsibility of the buyer.

5. What is the delivery time for purchased artworks?

Delivery times vary depending on location and the size and type of the artwork. Standard deliveries of prints within the UK usually take 7–10 working days; international deliveries may take 2–4 weeks. You will be kept informed at every stage. Sail commissions will naturally take longer as each piece is made to order.

6. Are the artworks framed?

Rock & Royals and CarbonCanvas artworks are most often mounted within custom built acrylic frames designed to enhance light and depth. Details of framing are included in each artwork’s description. Bespoke framing can be arranged upon request.

7. Can I commission a custom artwork?

Absolutely. Kos Evans creates bespoke artworks as Limited Edition prints or on personal or historically significant sails. To discuss a private commission, please get in touch via the Contact page or email Kos@KosEvans.com with your ideas.

8. How are the proceeds from sales used?

A portion of proceeds from selected artworks and exhibitions is donated to marine conservation charity Oceans Without Borders (Tusk).

9. Can I view the artworks in person?
