A pop-art presentation of America’s Cup legends Ted Turner, Dennis Conner and Alan Bond taken by Kos. The colourful, vibrant images are presented on the 50- year old mainsail of the 12-metre Courageous, defender in 1977 of the America’s Cup for the New York Yacht Club. She was helmed by “Mouth of the South” Ted Turner, founder of CNN. His starting helmsman was the legendary Dennis Conner. Courageous successfully defended the Cup from challenger Australia 1 owned by Alan Bond. The piece is protected and encapsulated in a custommade UV acrylic case and can either be wall-mounted or displayed with colour-controlled lighting on its transparent acrylic base.
